Primary Focus:
To strategize, create a winning marketing plan for the Company’s software products and software services. To implement the marketing plan successfully to achieve the business and financial goals of the company for the next 3 years.
He/She will be responsible for tracking and maintaining the budget and helping to ensure that all projects managed by them stay within budget and determining ROI on various campaigns and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develops and implements a comprehensive strategic marketing plan in support of
business objectives.
· Partners with individual business units in formulating and managing all
marketing initiatives.
· Develops marketing programs to generate sales leads, and measures lead flow
effectiveness.
· Responsible for overall corporate branding, PR and messaging including
collateral material, websites, direct mail and advertising.
· Monitors competitive services, and business strategies, as well as industry
information and trends.
· Hires and manages third parties including agencies, design firms, free lancers,
etc.
· Plans and coordinates all events and conferences.
· Develops and maintains positive relationships with channel partners.
· Responsible for management of all related budget
Required experience, skills and competencies:
· 5 To 7 years of successfully proven broad based-marketing experience,
including specific knowledge of market collateral development, advertising,
media, database, branding, promotions, press release creation, and
national campaign management.
· 3-5 years in a leadership role, overseeing a corporate marketing function,
preferably in a small to mid-sized company.
· Related marketing management experience in the IT consulting industry or
computer hardware and software industries is required.
· Outstanding verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
· Entrepreneurial spirit and passion; a "make it happen" attitude and approach.
· High degree of adaptability, initiative, and a hands-on style is critical.
· MBA degree is a plus.
· Willingness to travel. Job may require 25% travel.
